Barthel Index

Objective:
To measure a person's daily functioning specifically the activities of daily living and mobility.

Conditions of use:

1. User Agreement:

User is required to complete and sign a User Agreement in which specific conditions required by the Author are detailed.


2. Access Fees:

Authors' royalty fees:

In commercial studies: 1,000 €* per protocol/application + an additional charge of 500 €* per existing translation.

 

Distribution fees are requested according to the context of use and User's profile:

Category A.   Students, physicians, clinical practice, not-funded academic research i.e. if the project is not explicitly funded, but funding comes from overall departmental funds or from the University or individual funds; then the access to the questionnaire is FREE.

Category B.    Funded academic research: projects receiving funding from commerce, government, EU, should anticipate paying the corresponding fees:

License fee per study: 300 €*

- + an additional fee of 50 €* per language version provided.

Category C.   Commercial studies (industry, CRO, any for-profit companies):

-   License fee per study: 600 €*

- + an additional fee of 250 €* per language version provided.

* excluding VAT



New translations:

For the production of new translations to be used in commercial studies, each translation shall be coordinated by Mapi Institute.
